As the saying goes, “Every Day is a School Day”, so if you’re looking to up your production skills or in need of tips for getting your music heard, here’s a low down on some of the best resources.

Music Production Resources

Sonic Academy:

As one of the longest-standing sites, you’ll find plenty of content here. It’s worth the monthly subscription for the quality of its many ‘How To’ tutorials, but if you’re on a budget, the YouTube site has some free tutorials and in-depth interviews.

EDM Foundations:

New to music production? This is one of the best places to start, as it focuses on learning through doing rather than overwhelming you with theory.

Pensado’s Place:

Intermediate level? This Youtube channel isn’t electronic music-specific, but don’t be put off by the rock styling. It’s a channel aiming itself at professional music producers, so it is stuffed with so many insights, you’re bound to find some of them useful.

Music Promotion Resources

Cymatics:

All those hours on production mean nothing if you can’t get your music heard. Cymatics has useful full courses and shorter, more focused tutorials on all aspects of music marketing and promotion.
